David is an artist and filmmaker whose work explores the impact of digital technology and media on individuals, society, and the environment. He investigates how fact and fiction, truth and artificiality blend together in a digital post-truth era. David works with media technology as his medium of choice. Using traditional mediums such as video and photography, he also works with new media formats including extended reality (XR), artificial intelligence (AI), and the internet. David's research ultimately takes the form of digital and physical installations, interactive works, and web-based art. His aim is to physicalize the digital in order to explore the boundary between the tangible and intangible. Born in Singapore and raised in the United States, David earned his BFA in Filmmaking from NYU in 2015 and is currently pursuing his MA in Fine Art at Central St. Martins.
